FAQ

Q. I'm booked on to one your courses, do I need to bring anything?

A. For most of our courses, all you need to bring is yourself, glasses if you wear them and something to tie your hair back with. For some of our courses such as the metal clay workshop, feel free to bring along any natural items you may want to imprint into your pieces such as leaves, or other small items such as buttons. We will have a selection of these on the courses though so don't worry if you can't find anything.

Q. I'm looking for a class at a specific venue, but I cant find it on your website or it's showing no spaces left.

A. All of our available workshops can be found on our website. If a venue isn't showing, we don't have any forthcoming workshops with them at the moment. You can use our suggestion form to suggest another venue or date in your area. If it's showing no available spaces then we're fully booked for that time slot but get in touch if you can't make another available time and we'll try and fit you in!

Q. How do I book on to a workshop?

A. Simply choose the worskhop you'd like to go to, click the link which says "Click here to book your place" at the top right of the page, choose the date you'd like and enter the information requested on the page.

Q. Do you sell gift vouchers?

A. We do! To buy one, click here and then at the top of the scheduler, there is a link to "View Products/Packages" which will bring you to a list of all our available workshops. Please note, some of these vouchers can only be used on specific workshops which are mentioned in the voucher title, other vouchers are free to use on all of our workshops.

Q. I've booked on to one your workshops but now can't make it, is there anything that can be done?

A. As per our terms and conditions, we are unable to refund any workshop tickets, but if you let us know early enough, we can put your space back up and give you a voucher worth the full amount of your ticket if the space is sold. Alternatively, you're free to either gift or sell your ticket to someone else, we just ask that you let us know the name and email of your replacement ahead of the workshop so we can keep them updated.

Q. I want to go to a workshop but it's sold out. Do you have a cancellation list?

A. If the workshop you'd like to book is sold out, email us at hello@noctua.co.uk and we'll add you to our waiting list for that workshop. If any spaces become available, we'll let you know.

Q. Are there any age limits to your workshops?

A. 8 is the youngest we can teach in our workshops. We ask that anyone between the ages of 8 and 16 is accompanied by a participating adult and that you let us know before booking so we can ensure that the workshop is safe for any younger students.

Q. I know a venue that would be a great place to run one of your pop-up workshops, how can I suggest it?

A. We have a suggestion form for venue's and date's that can be found here. Let us know a bit of information about the venue, such as its name, location, and what kind of business it is. Every suggestion will be considered!

Q. Are you available for private bookings?

A. Absolutely! Whether it's a one-to-one to a full class booking, just let us know a date and time and we'll let you know if we're available. If it's a group booking for a special occasion we'll add in a little extra as well, either making a small piece for the head of the party or providing the silver for them to make something extra on the day completely free of charge.

Q. Can I come make engagement/wedding rings with you?

A. Of course! We love helping people to express their love to their partner and what better way to do that than with unique engagement and wedding rings handcrafted by you? Both of these workshops are run in a similar way, except our wedding ring workshop is for couples. We'll start with a consultation to make sure you know all the options available and we know exactly what you want to make. Then we'll book in a second date for the actual making of the rings.
